Sunburst Electronics' Repair Center has proven, streamlined processes in place that facilitates our ability to deliver working, upgraded units to customers within a very short period of time.

Board Exchange Program
Customers recognize Sunburst as an ongoing "repair support arm" and regularly submit field-return cores for repair - enabling Sunburst to build a core inventory for future out of warranty replacement orders. When customers send field return cores, they have the option of having the same unit repaired and returned; or, they can simply order that same assembly number in Sunburst's existing refurbished core inventory. The end goal of Sunburst's Board Exchange Program is meeting customer needs quickly and efficiently. Often, Sunburst tests, upgrades and ships in-stock boards within 3 days of order receipt.
In many cases, the need for a replacement of a field failure is heightened by customer circumstance. When replacement cores are not available, Sunburst customers request PDQ replacement. Sunburst pulls boards directly out of finished goods inventory or in some cases, off of the manufacturing floor, and ships directly to the end user, all within 24 hours of notification.
End-of-Life Product Management
Many of our customers cater to companies that for a variety of reasons are not ready to upgrade to the latest equipment and electronic controls in their industries. Sunburst's Repair Center strives to keep customer "end users" satisfied by specializing in end-of-life product management and repairing products that are no longer available in the marketplace - controller boards, meters and display boards, for instance. We also upgrade outdated products to the latest revisions possible.
